Learn About Classic Carrier

How to set your carrier correctly

One of the key aspects of ergonomic babywearing is achieving a snug and comfortable fit.
Follow our guidelines to ensure the carrier is adjusted to support your baby’s hips and spine correctly.
We understand that visual learning is essential for many parents.
Our tutorial page includes detailed video demonstrations, allowing you to see the proper techniques in action.

1. Step – Set the width of the seat based on your child’s size

The width of the seat is set by pulling on the drawstring on the inner of the carrier for a smaller baby to accommodate the size of the baby’s hips (from knee to knee).
For smaller babies make the seat narrow, for bigger children extend the seat.
The International Hip Dysplasia Institute (IHDI) recommends baby’s hips be spread apart and flexed
with the thighs supported up to the knee joint,
forming an “M“.

2. Step – You are now ready to carry your child

Follow the instructions in the below tutorial.
Remember to follow T.I.C.K.S. for safe baby-wearing.
Perform pelvic tilt to ensure the baby’s hips are positioned correctly.
