How to set your Flexi correctly

One of the key aspects of ergonomic babywearing is achieving a snug and comfortable fit.
Follow our guidelines to ensure the carrier is adjusted to support your baby’s hips and spine correctly.

1. Step – Set the width of seat based on your child’s size

Width of the seat is set by studs on the inner and inside of the waistband.
The International Hip Dysplasia Institute (IHDI) recommends baby’s hips to be spread apart and flexedwith the thighs supported upto the knee joint,forming an “M“.

  • Narrow waistband seat for newborns

  • Medium set waistband seat

  • Fully extended waistband seat

2. Step – Set the body panel based on your child's size

Adjust the length of the carrier by pulling down on the shoulder straps -> create smaller body panel for smaller babies

  • Pull on shoulder straps to make the body panel shorter for smaller babies

3. Step – You are now ready to carry your child

Remember to follow T.I.C.K.S. for safe baby-wearing 
Perform pelvic tilt to ensure the baby’s hips are positioned correctly.
