How to set your Flexi Plus correctly

One of the key aspects of ergonomic babywearing is achieving a snug and comfortable fit.
Follow our guidelines to ensure the carrier is adjusted to support your baby’s hips and spine correctly.
We understand that visual learning is essential for many parents.
Our tutorial page includes detailed video demonstrations, allowing you to see the proper techniques in action.

1. Step – Set the width of seat based on your child’s size

Width of the seat is set by studs on the inner and inside of the waistband.
The International Hip Dysplasia Institute (IHDI) recommends baby’s hips to be spread apart and flexedwith the thighs supported upto the knee joint, forming an “M“.

  • Narrow waistband seat for newborns

  • Medium set waistband seat

  • Fully extended waistband seat

2. Step – Set the outside of the carrier based on where child will face

Decide whether you intend to carry your child towards you – inward (front or back).
Or you child will be facing outwards (recommended 6-12months).

  • Use outer buttons when the child faces the caregiver
    (front and back)

  • Use inner buttons to face your child outwards
